He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth, Sharon, Bonnie and Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Turner; his children, Eric, Gary Lewis and Shona Freeman; his sisters, Barbara Sue Evelyn, Donna and Saundra; his sons, Douglas and Travis; and his grandson Robby.
