He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucious Bond and Viola Bond; his siblings, Ruby Redman and Cooney Bond; and his sons, David Wayne Bond Sr. and Darryl Howard Bond.
He is survived by: his son Brent James Bond; his grandson David Wayne Bond Jr.; his great grandchildren, Chloee, Callyn and Cassidee Bond; and his granddaughter-in-law April Bond.
