He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Lewis Thompson, Sr. and Nellie Inez Carter; his sister Liz Necaise; and his son Joseph King. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; and his children, Ricky Thompson, Jr. (Sabrina) of Saucier, Ashley Thompson (Nikki) of Gulfport, John Thomas King and Julia Walker (Chad) of Saucier.
