He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Suarez and Mattie Mae Suarez; his wife Geraldine Broussard Suarez; his daughter Janeen Suarez Sablich; and his siblings, Betty Suarez Alexander, Barbara Suarez Reed and Wayne Suarez.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Suarez (Cathy), Lonnie Suarez (Lisa) and Lorraine Suarez Jermyn (Guy); his brothers, Ronnie Suarez (Julie), Joe Suarez and Frank Suarez; his grandchildren, Michael Suarez (Kristen), Nathan Jermyn (Emilee), Hannah Sablich and Collin Sablich; and his great grandchildren, Austin Suarez and Emily Suarez. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins.
