It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genny Kay Tate-Wedgeworth of Saucier, Mississippi, who passed away on December 27, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Larry E. Wedgeworth; her parents, Willie Tate and Geneive Cruthirds Tate; her brothers, Jimmy Dale Cruthirds, Gary Tilley and Roy Lynn Tate; her stepdaughter Dorothy W. Rose; and her grandsons, Larry W. Hart and Fred P. Sneed.
She is survived by: her close friend John Potts; her stepchildren, Jacqueline Polk (Neil) and Billy Sam Wedgeworth (Jewell Ann); her daughters, Vickie Vick (Michael) and Casey Savage (JJ); her sister Judy Lightner (Eric); her grandchildren, Victoria Pokey Wedgeworth Magnusen, Rebecca Grob, Ashley McCurrie, Jeremy Savage, Jonathan Savage, Victoria Hutchinson and Gracelynn Vick; and her stepgrandchildren, Bo and Crystal Potts. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
