He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Wood Furby and Walton "Bill" Furby; his children, Rebecca Suzanne Furby and Timothy Shane Furby; and his brother Jerry Furby.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his sons, Shea Furby (Sabrina) of Ashville, Ohio, Jason Stone of Catalina Island, California and Brad Furby; his daughter-in-law Michelle Furby; his siblings, Allen Taylor, Lee Furby (Teresa), Margie Jacobson (Craig) and Debby Gollotte (Geoff); his grandchildren, Briar, Declan, Scarlett, John McCave (Jordyn), Mason, Raelynn and Cason; his great grandchild Lennon McCave; and his friends, Billy Douglas and Harry Pulliam. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
