He was predeceased by: his parents, James "J. J." Skinner and Agatha "Gather" Skinner; his brother Leroy Skinner; his father-in-law Bobby C. Clark; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Bill and Milton Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Skinner; his children, Justin Skinner (Tiffany), Ashleigh Wheeler (John) and Kaileigh Skinner (Dalton Barber); his grandchildren, Gavin, Jayden, Kennedy, Mason, Harper, Avery, Presley and Karson; his siblings, Joyce Bill, Sara Nell Johnson, Barbara Rugg, Jimmy Skinner, Judy Oglesby (Terry), Tommy Skinner (Brenda) and Debbie Rhoades (Dewayne); his mother-in-law Kathi Burton (Denny); his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Gibson and Brian Clark; and his nephew Wade Gibson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
