He was predeceased by: his father Walter Leroy Johnson; his daughter Tammy Lewis; his brothers, Robert Paul Gardner and Walter Horace Johnson; and his grandson Christopher Paul Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Johnson of Sardis; and his children, Teresa Tarver of Pope, Elizabeth Carol Woods of Brandon, Schelle Marie Goodman of Terry and William Clay Johnson of Jackson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
