In the vast expanse of eternity, Tanya Renee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Tanya Renee farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband Scott Allen Hodges of Sardis; her children, Jamie Melton of Sardis, Kellie Wilson (Archie) of Sardis, Benjamin Hodges of Sardis, Joshua Hodges of Fetus, MO. and Devin Lobsinger of Edwardville, IL.; her grandchildren, Jason Wilson, Sophie Wilson and Trevor Melton; and her mother Betty Huffstickler Chrestman of Batesville.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forrest Memorial Park (340 MS-35, Batesville, MS 38606). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 1:30 PM at the Longtown Cemetery.
