With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sadie F. Lawrence of Sardis, Mississippi, born in Batesville, Mississippi, who passed away on November 24, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Faggert and Elizabeth Faggert; her sister Hazel Faggert Waldrip; her children, Wanda Lawrence Carmichael and George Preston Lawrence, Jr. (Darlene); her granddaughters, Whitney Veazey, Brookley Carmichael, Magan Shipp and Morgan Joyner; her great grandchildren, Slates Veazey, Jr., Preston Shipp, Andrew Shipp, Thomas Joyner, Sadie Veazey and Nola Shipp; and her husband George Preston Lawrence.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Grace Place in Batesville, MS, or another charity of your choosing.
