We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2024, at the age of 72, Roy Lee Burks Sr. of Sardis, Mississippi, born in Crowder, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Elijah Burks and Lottie B. Ware Burks; his wife Linda Burks; his daughter LaWanda Joyce Burks; and his brothers, Carl Stanley Burks and James Rubin Burks.

He is survived by: his children, LaRhonda Ragan, Patty McGehee, Terry Dillard, Steven Dillard and Roy Lee Burks, Jr.; and his siblings, Sheila Ann Bowman and David Mark Burks (Joyce). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
