It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Ray Jr. (Sardis, Mississippi), who passed away on February 1, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Matthews Ray and Jack Ray, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Beard Ray of Sardis, MS; his children, Beverly Ray Patton (Keith) of Batesville, MS, Robyn Ray Snellgrove (Al) of Luverne, AL, Tony Ray (Kimberly) of Tupelo, MS and Rusty Ray of Sardis, MS; his sister Virginia Ray Taylor of Memphis, TN; and his grandchildren, Cathryn Patton McKee (David), Leigh-Taylor Patton Unruh (Justin), Anna Ray Snellgrove Hilburn (Matthew), Sarah Cathryn Snellgrove, Jack Ray, John Simmons Noe and Zade Charleson Simmons.
