She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Henry Welch; her daughters, Dorothy W. Berry, Betty Jean Welch and Susan Welch; and her siblings, Dorothy Rose Berry, A. C. Coaten and William Creed Coaten.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice Nell Lovett of McComb, MS; and her sister Alma Lois "Polly" Johnson of Oxford, MS. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
