He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Paul and Jean Marie Becher. He is survived by: his wife Connie Becher of Sarah, MS; his sons, Ryan Becher (Shannon) of Olive Branch, MS and Michael Lewis (Christa) of Belews Creek, N. C.; his stepsons, Scott Ellis (Kathy) of Nesbit, MS and Brant Ellis of Eugene, OR; and his sister Roberta Evans (Webb) of Kittyhawk, N. C.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be sent in Jim's name to Tunnels 2 Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
