He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie Carlisle and Paul Lane; his siblings, Betty O'Neal, Lou Red, Pauline Boyd and Delmer Lane; and his grandson Dylan Wrenn.
He is survived by: his wife Fay O'Neal Lane of Sarah; his sons, Chad Lane (Tonya) and Mike Lane (Megan); and his siblings, Mary Medina (Tony) of Sardis, Patricia Coggins of Biloxi, Priscilla Sparks (Mike) of Texas, Liz Lenard (Gary) of Longtown and William O'Neal.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
