Sadie Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carsie Thompson and Ollie Mae Thompson; her brother Charles Lyn Thompson; her granddaughter Meagan Upton; and her husband Robert Hathcock.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Temple, Susie Stegall (Tommy), Curt Walters (Lisa), Phillip Walters (Ginger) and Chad Hathcock (Karen); her sister Margaret "Doodle" Johnson; and her grandchildren, Tonya Temple, Chris Temple, John C. Temple, III, Carrie Temple, Taia Burngrasser, Chance'Walters, Tiggy Swain, Kathrine Walters, Jessica Walters, Hannah Runnels, Lauren Crain and Tianna Haslob. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (323 2nd St, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
