It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Mae Magee (Sandy Hook, Mississippi), who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Peters and Julia Platter Peters (Moise Magee); her spouse Moise Magee; her siblings, Alice Peters, Kathleen Mingo, Ora Lee Peters, A. B. Galloway, Walter Peters, Willester Peters, Odell Peters, Alex Peters and Ira Peters; and her grandson Dominque Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Eunice Lewis (Felton), Willene Peters-Griffin of Baton Rouge, LA, Tanda Armstrong of Gretna, LA and L. V.; her brother Marshall Peters (Zella); her grandson Marquez Ball (Sabrena); and her godchildren, Charles E. Brumfield Sr., Brittney Magee and Angie. She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
