He is survived by: his wife Sue Carolyn O'Neal Mixon; his son Doug Mixon (Amanda); his siblings, Bobby Joe Mixon, Janet Jones (Jimmy), Kay Grubbs and Frances Phelps; his grandchildren, Carley Owens (David) and Tyler Mixon; his great grandchild Roman Owens; and his grandchildren, Maddy, Macie, Mylee Burgess and Jeffery Johnson. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
