Betty Cloy Fortenberry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Cloy Fortenberry of Sandy Hook, Mississippi, born in Grace, Mississippi, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cloy and Leona Cloy; her husband Bob Fortenberry; her son Richard Fortenberry; and her siblings, Elizabeth "Pete" Stokes, Evelyn Faulk, Hilda Kirkland and Billy Cloy.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Hance (Doug) and Robert Fortenberry (Margaret); her grandchildren, Bethany Cole (Daniel), Charissa Kyman (Max), Elizabeth Hance, Caroline Hance and Daniel Hance (Doyeon); and her great grandchildren, Deacon Cole and Jack Kyman.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorials be made in Betty's honor to Sandy Hook Baptist Church.
