He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulon and Deane McCoy; his siblings, Truman and Audrey Scales; and his granddaughter Lindsay Lunsford.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ishee Green; his children, Robert A. Green (Sara) of Starkville, MS and Kaye Lunsford (Courtney) of Crystal; his grandchildren, Kathryn Green Ashmore (William), Taylor Lunsford (Tiffany) and Mason Lunsford; his great grandchildren, Ella Ashmore and Rory Lunsford; his brother Adrian (Bonnie); and his sister-in-law Lonnie.
