It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Jeane Keyes of Sandersville, Mississippi, born in Vian, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Compton and Della Mae Anderson Compton; her former husband Everett Earl Pickering, Sr.; her husband David Anderson; and her siblings, Gene, Charles Compton, Augusta Dameron and Katherine Chambers.
She is survived by: her children, Everett Pickering, Jr. (Carla) of Lake Charles, LA, David Glenn Pickering (Naomi Boutte) of McKees Rocks, PA and Lora West (Maynard) of Collins; and her siblings, Betty Rogers of Texas, Gary Compton of Texas and Bert Compton of Texas. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
