He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hughes Surratt of Saltillo; his daughters, Tammy Chase (Tim) of Tupelo, Tonyia Strickland (Billy) of Booneville and Daneita Hayes (Terry) of Corinth; his brothers, Alec Surratt (Donna) and Bobby Joe Surratt of Saltillo; his grandchildren, Christopher Vasquez (Jenna Rose), Chandler Vasquez, Christian Vasquez, Clay South, Kyle South (Marcella), Kayla South, Cory Edge, Kaylee Dixon, Crissa Cruse and Cody Cruse; and his great grandchildren, Peyton South, Raylea Hearn Gavin Freeman, Aven Hearn, Braxton Edge and Paris James. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
