She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Gifford; her daughter Danica McCord; her granddaughter Destiny McCord; her parents, Roy C Owens and Loretta Speck Owens; and her siblings, Malon "Buddy" Owens and Anna Sue Watts.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Gifford (Elishia) of Murfreesboro, TN, John Clayburn Gifford of Saltillo, Christopher Scott Gifford of Murfreesboro, TN, Daphne Thomas (Bruce) of Saltillo and DeAnn Richey (Kevin) of Blue Springs; and her siblings, Bill Owens (Linda) of Tupelo, JD Owens (Georgia) and Juanita Owens. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
