Shirley Sanders Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Sanders (Saltillo, Mississippi), who passed away on September 18, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Russell and Jessie Frederick Russell; her former husband Bob Tackett; her husband Mitch Sanders; her children, Brenda Payne and Tim Tackett; her grandchildren, Brandy Whaley, Denise Hallmark and Shawn Gillespie; her siblings, Anthony, Denis Russell, Betty Houston and Carolyn Webb; and her daughter-in-law Vickie Sanders.

She is survived by: her children, Junior Sanders of Guntown, Vickie Lansdell (Dell) of Nettleton, Terry Sanders (Lisa) of Saltillo, Tina Whaley (Johnny) of Tupelo and James Sanders (Melissa) of Guntown; and her siblings, Brenda Kemper and Kenneth Russell. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
