She was predeceased by: her parents, Lofton Scoggins and Jo Della Scoggins. She is survived by: her children, Angela Peters (Bruce) of Texas, Rebecca Ehlers (Rick) of Michigan, Richard Cotton of Saltillo and Keith Cotton of Oklahoma; and her siblings, Dell Lemmons Franklin of Texas and Murray Scoggins (Pearl) of Starkville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
