It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Rice of Saltillo, Mississippi, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Rice and Clara Mae Baugh Rice; his sisters, Betty Boswell and Lillian Rice; his son-in-law Delvin Moore; and his grandson Michael Carnathan.
He is survived by: his wife Morine Rice of Saltillo; his children, Shera Landry (Mark), Robert E. Rice, Jr., Shelia Carnathan (Mike) and Lisa Moore; and his grandchildren, Howard Matthews (Lauren), Lacy Pardez, Jonathan Landry (Kendall), Blake Rice (Lindsey), Jeremy Wood (Shannon), Thomas Wood (Allison), Tera Johnson (Anthony), Leigh Ann Lansdell (Richard), April Ferguson (Joseph) and Chase Coleman (Emileigh). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren.
