She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Herring and Mottie Lee Clayton Herring; her husband Joe Potts; and her siblings, Joan Sneed and Dwight Herring.
She is survived by: her children, Sunny Marshall (Andrew) of Booneville, Amanda Potts Peoples of Fulton, Sheila Potts Allen of Gulfport, Daniel Burk of Saltillo, Keith Potts (Rhonda) of Friendship and Randall Potts (Diana) of Pratts Community; her sisters, Brenda Joyce McCreight (Sam) of Pontotoc and Gloria Dorene Maddox; her grandchildren, Drew Marshall (Braelyn), Bethany Wammack (Deston), Savannah Burk, Leia Buehler (Rickey), Maddyson Cox, Leslie Bennett (Eric), Laura Potts (Brad), Jordan Potts, Logan Potts and Garrett Peoples; and her great grandchildren, Kyneligh, Nora Jane and Draco.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Old Birmingham Ridge Cemetery.
