Nadine Simmons Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nadine Simmons Jones (Saltillo, Mississippi), born in Verona, Mississippi, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Simmons and Bertha Hawkins Simmons; her husband John W Jones; and her siblings, Janette Arnold, Dorothy Smith, JoAnn Newman, Betty Westmoreland, Sterling, Milton and Bill Simmons.

She is survived by: her son William Thomas Jones (Bill); her grandchildren, Dr. Andrew (Madeleine) of Jones, MD and Dr. Katie Jones, MD; and her brother Gil Simmons. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
