He was predeceased by: his parents, James Drake "Jimmy" Fly and Merle Evelyn Fitch Fly; his brother Bobby Fly; and his brother-in-law Larry Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Fly of Saltillo; his children, Brian Fly (Kim) of Tupelo, Rusty Fly (Anna) of Memphis, Jared Fly (Elisabeth) of New Albany and Laura Magness (Ryan) of Hernando; his sisters, Gayle Ellis (Joe) of Ocala and Barbara Thompson of Boyle; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Fly of Memphis and Richard Flowers (Karen) of Waverly, Tennessee. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
