She was predeceased by: her parents, Royce McBrayer and Christine Hutcheson McBrayer; her sister Joyce Jackson (Jimmy); her brother-in-law Billy Smith; and her great grandchild Boone Brinkley.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne "Mutt" Mallette; her sons, David Mallette (Cathy) and Stephen Mallette (Lori); her grandchildren, Josh Mallette (Gabbie), Alex Williams (Dan), Brandon Mallette (Cameron), Beth Brinkley (Dustin) and Eric Patterson; and her sister Jan Smith.
