He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barry Knight and Charlie Mae Thomas Knight; the mother of his children Faye Knight; his granddaughter April Caldwell Martin; his siblings, Bill Knight, Paul Wayne Knight and Betty Smith Wimbs; his stepson Michael Franks; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Paris Franks.
He is survived by: his former wife Ruby Faye Knight; his son Michael Knight (Judy) of Saltillo; his grandsons, Will Knight of Granite Falls, NC, Auston Knight of Saltillo and Coy Knight (Ana) of Granite Falls, NC; his great grandchildren, Susan Caldwell (Danny) of Mantachie, Cal Caldwell, Logan Durham, Mylee Durham, Millie Durham, Harper Knight, Auddie Knight, Adaline Knight, Ariel Knight, Gavon Knight, Bentley Knight and Halligan Knight; his wife Juanita Franks Knight of Mantachie; his stepson Perry Franks (Sharon); his grandchildren, Kayla Comer (Jared) of Mooreville, Anna Lewis (Brandon) of Mooreville, Justin Franks (Tiphanie) of Mooreville and Jason Franks of Mooreville; his siblings, Kenneth Knight (Brenda), Keith Knight (Amelia) and Judy South (Jerry); his sister-in-law Brenda McGaughy (Bernie); and also Brandon Caldwell (Summer) of Tupelo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
