He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerd Taylor and Velma Hopkins Taylor; his former wife Martha Faye Taylor; his daughter Dawn Michelle Taylor; and his sisters, Betty Taylor and Jan Lou Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Bea Taylor of Saltillo; his children, Regina Smith (James) of Iuka, Priscilla Segina (Mickey) of Iuka, Sandra Evans (Johnny) of Jacksonville, AL, James Taylor (Lisa) of Nashville, TN and Robert Taylor (Katie) of Iuka; his stepchildren, Tammie Homan of Pontotoc, Daniel Allen (Nikki) of Iuka and Paul Gammons (Shanna) of Tupelo; and his siblings, Doug Taylor (Jeanette) of Holly Springs, Harry Taylor (Carlene) of Potts Camp, Glynda Lowell (Donnie) of Rienzi and Nina Frederick of Pontotoc. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
