He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Davis and Palmer Jones Turner; his siblings, Janice Goff, Patsy Sue Turner and Ted Turner; and his half-sister Mildred Stembridge.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Turner of Saltillo; his children, Pamela Turner Patterson of Hattiesburg and Justin Shaun Whitaker of Saltillo; his siblings, Judith Diane Mitchell, Gene Autry Turner and Sammy Jones Turner; and his half-brother Bill Turner. He is also survived by two step-children; three grandchildren; four step grandchildren.
