She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Lee "Buck" Fowler and Hazel Juanita Hunt Fowler; her husband Ben Earl Hester; her sons, Rickey Hester and Timothy Hester; and her brother Jimmy Lee Fowler.

She is survived by: her sons, Brian Hester (Savannah) of Saltillo and Bradley Hester of Saltillo; her grandchildren, Nikki Graham (Matthew) of Evergreen Community and Katie Cook (Justin) of Blue Mountain; her great grandchildren, Jayci Bray (Jason), Hannah Kelly and Tarja; and her sister Betty Stults (Mike Fowler) of Mooreville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
