He was predeceased by: his parents, E. L. Nolen Jr. and Vivian S. K. Nolen. He is survived by: his wife Theresa J. Nolen; his children, Lisa M. Lovell and Micheal A. Nolen; his brothers, Clay Nolen, Kirk Nolen and Kent Nolen of Memphis; and his sister-in-law Joan Nolen. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, a charity that was close to his heart, in his honor.
