He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Everett Echols. He is survived by: his wife Susan L. Echols; his stepdaughters, Michelle L. Lee (John) of Limestone, TN and Pamela L. Cook (Scottie) of Hernando, MS; his grandchildren, Makenzie and Conner; his sister Sarah Echols Aho of Virginia Beach, VA; his nephew Michael C. Aho (Joe) of Geneva; and his granddaughter Vyusti Sandeep Yadav of Starkville, MS..
