She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Smith and Sadie McKissick Smith; her husband William David Lamons; and her siblings, James, Doug, Tommy Smith, Evelyn Pannell, Mae Demeuse and Louise Maloof.

She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Lamons (Louise) of Auburn and Larry Lamons (Christy) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Kyle Lamons, Will Lamons (Jennifer) and Stevie Lamons Rich (Jared); her great grandchild Annaleigh Lamons; and her brother Kenneth Smith of Zephyr Hills, Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
