He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eaton and Vera Jo Eaton; his sons, William Eaton and Michael Langdon; and his siblings, Tommy Eaton, Freddie Eaton, Matt Eaton, Linda Broyhill, Mary Eaton and Brenda Donald.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Eaton of Saltillo; his children, Clifton Eaton, Jr. (Penny) of Greenville, Josephine Branscum of Cedartown, GA, Robert Wayne Eaton of Saltillo, Pam Neal of Nettleton and Jeffrey Langdon of Saltillo; and his siblings, Madeline Parker of Greenville and Jesse Eaton (Susan) of Tupelo. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
