He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Taruno Martrell Carothers, Decarlos Dontrel Moore (Cecile Steen) and Carlton Ta'Shon Phillips; his grandchildren, Ja'Quarrius, Davion, Dylan, Kylei and Presleigh; his parents, Raymond Phillips and Ora Lee Phillips; and his siblings, Maxine, Sallie Greenleaf (Dennis), Annie Fondon (Michael), Kathleen Hawkins (Ray), Roy Phillips (Shirley), Wayne Phillips (Bennia) and Darrell Phillips (Dorris). He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
