He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dora Burt, Ella Lee Simmons, Willie Lee, Lee Edward, James Franklin, John Ed and Earnest Simmons.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Brister, Emma Harmon, Susie Lewis (Alvin Joe), Mattie Lewis (Alonzo) and Ella Jean Evans (George). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
