She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Dickerson and Elizabeth Dickerson (Jimmy Hicks); and her siblings, Mary Crowder, Bettie Pilgrim and Harold Dickerson.
She is survived by: her children, James Hicks (Valerie) and Machell Parkerson; her grandchildren, Kristin Hicks, Ethan Hicks and Brook Hicks; and her sisters, Celia Dickerson, Peggy Smith (Max), Rowena Upchurch and Nell Prevost (Steven).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sallis Baptist Church (100 Allen St, Sallis, MS 39160). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
