He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eckles and Clyda Eckles; his brothers, Harvey Eckles and Van Eckles; and his grandson Ronnie Vance.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Eckles; and his children, David Eckles (Linda), Deborah Mullins (Ricky) and JoAnn Burk (James). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildred and 6 great great grandchildren.
