He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyce Hester and Christine Amerson Hester; his son John R. Hester; and his sister Bonnie Salers. He is survived by: his wife Wyvis Burrell Hester of Sallis, MS; his children, Robert Hester (Kim) of Seymour, TN and Cindy Lucas (Doug) of Louisville, MS; his brothers, Clifford Hester (Debbie) and Larry Hester of Carthage, MS; and his grandchildren, Brittany Lucas, Lauren Lucas, Katie Lucas, Kaylin Hester and Kacy Hester.
Bobby was known for his fighting spirit even through the struggles of Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia.
