He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edna Adams Upchurch and Walter L. Upchurch; his wife Rowena Upchurch; his children, Ricky Upchurch (Ann) of Sallis, Tommy Upchurch (Linda) of Statesboro, GA and Carol Raborn (Larry) of Edwards; his son-in-law Steven Cox of Starkville; and his daughter Susan Cox. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
