She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie York and Myrtis Sheffield York; her husband J. C. Ray Poole; and her brothers, Paul York, John York and Harry York.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Kelton (Eddie), Annette Bobo of Brandon and Ginger Howell (Bill); and her brother Alfred York of Dorsey. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
