He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Davis and Eula Mae Davis; his daughter Cynthia Lynn Davis; his siblings, James Earl, Billy Gene, Alcus Jerald Davis, Oni Faye Smith and Annie Mae Gunnell; his parents-in-law, Jewel Dean and Frances Dunaway; his brothers-in-law, Jewel Ray and Daryel Dunaway; and his son-in-law Danny Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Syble Davis; his children, Angie Williams, Jeff Davis (Bridget), Wanda Bowman (Bob), Darlene Smith (Jeff), Kevin Davis (Amanda) and Krisha Barnes (Michael); and his brothers, J. M. Davis and Ray Davis. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
