He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Douglas Rogers; his sister Cecil Rogers Byrd; his niece Sue Byrd Dickens; and his nephew Jimmy Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Rogers; his sister Bobbie Rogers Mulrooney; and his nieces and nephews, Jan Kelly (Travis), Cynthia Thomas, Debra Sullivan (Robbie), Nita Boudreaux (Charlie), Delmar Richardson, Keith Richardson (Ruth), James Richardson (Phyllis), Tim Richardson (Sheri), Milton Richardson (Sue), David Richardson, Suzanna Barham Griffith, Kevin Byrd, James Byrd, Brad Kelly, Timothy Richards, Timothy Boudreaux, Aaron Boudreaux and Ken Hisaw. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
