He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey F. Boyd and Jo Frances Nettles Boyd; his son Jimmy Dean Boyd; and his brother-in-law Ted Rhodus. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith Boyd of Ruth; his children, Brad Boyd (LaDonna) of Ruth and Kim Moak (Mike) of Ruth; his siblings, Glynn Boyd (Elizabeth) of Ruth and Delloris Rhodus of Tylertown; and his grandchildren, Heather Cost (Adam), Heidi Smith (Jonathan), Hannah Price (Matt), Lana Moak, Trey Boyd, Hunter Boyd (Cody), Tyler Ann Boyd, Kaleb Boyd, Ben Fuller, Marvin Fuller and Chloe Fuller. He is also survived by five great grandchildren, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
