He was predeceased by: his parents, Saint Elmo Reid and Bertha Mae Eaton Reid of Ruth, MS.; his sister Ramona; his brother-in-law Alton Magee; his brother Markette; his sister-in-law Merle Reid; and his son Luke Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Reid; his children, Dianne Vire (Steve), Danny Joe Reid, Kay Kubecka (Steve), Candace Berryhill (Clint) and Lisa Brown (Robby); and his great grandchildren, Swae Sharp and Parker Sharp. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren.
