He is survived by: his wife Loretta Townsend Rutland; his children, Gordon Anthony Rutland and Jennifer Lou Sikes (Kevin); his grandchildren, Clinton Gage Brister (Rachel) and Grace Kathleen Sikes; and his great grandchild Noah Gage Brister. He is also survived by three children and two grandchildren, and were blessed with one great-grandson.
